🌴 Day 2 at Holt's House: Exploring God's Creation & Sharing the Gospel

✝️ Another Day of Faithful Ministry

What an incredible second day at Holt's House of Hope! God continues to open doors for ministry, fellowship, and opportunities to point others to Christ.

The day began with Dave and Kim Rowland taking the team on a guided tour of Los Tres Ojos National Park (The Three Eyes), where they explored beautiful limestone caves and viewed the three freshwater lakes nestled within them. It was a wonderful reminder of God's incredible creativity and the beauty of His creation. We hope you enjoy a few pictures from the day!

After lunch, the team shifted their focus to preparing for the boys to arrive that afternoon. Once everyone arrived, they enjoyed a meal together of hot dogs with sauerkraut and corn before jumping into the evening's activities.

The David and Goliath skit returned, but this time there was a fun twist—the boys were invited to participate and act out the story themselves! It was a huge success and a wonderful way to help them engage with God's Word in a memorable way.

George Moody shared a devotional using the game of baseball to explain the Gospel. He reminded the boys that salvation is not something we can earn, but rather a gift freely given through Jesus Christ to those who believe in Him and repent of their sins. The message was well received, and we praise God for the opportunity to clearly present the hope of the Gospel.

The evening continued with Kaylie Eastwood, Lyssa, and Kensley Barton leading everyone through an energetic dance routine. Before long, the room was full of laughter and movement as even the boys joined in!

Of course, no day at Holt's House would be complete without baseball and basketball. Multiple games broke out across the property, and we're told Pete did his best to become a 12-year-old again for the afternoon! It was a day filled with joy, relationships, and opportunities to love these young men well.
